放線菌放線菌actinomycetes原核生物中的一個類群。因其菌落呈放射狀而得名，在分類學上被認為是廣義細菌中的1個目——放線菌目。大多有基內菌絲和氣生菌絲，少數無氣生菌絲，多數產生分生孢子，有些形成孢囊和孢囊孢子。絕大多數放線菌革蘭氏染色呈陽性。放線菌是最主要的抗生素產生菌，其中的鏈霉菌屬所產生的抗生素占總數的2／3以上。放線菌在甾體的轉化、石油的脫蠟、污水的處理等方面也有廣泛的用途，在自然界的氮素循環中也起著一定的作用。放線菌中也有致病菌，如牛放線菌，在口頰、齒齦等部位發生損傷時能侵入組織內，引起放線菌病。
