儲氣罐  儲存燃氣的容器,也稱儲氣柜,是城市燃氣輸配系統中的主要設備之一。儲氣罐的作用是解決燃氣生產、供應與應用之間的不平衡。當用氣量小于產氣量時,將多余的燃氣在儲氣罐中儲存起來,用以補充高峰用氣負荷時供氣量的不足。儲氣罐一般只用來平衡城市用氣的日不均勻性和小時不均勻性。儲氣罐也可作為混合器,以穩定燃氣成分。    低壓儲氣罐  儲氣壓力為1~5千帕。這類儲氣罐是靠改變容積儲氣的,壓力基本維持恒定。當氣源壓力不高時,常采用這種儲氣罐(見彩圖)。    低壓儲氣罐有效儲氣量V可用下式計算  V=Vc嗚  式中Vc為儲氣罐的幾何容積;嗚為儲氣罐的容積利用系數,一般為0.8~0.85。    高壓儲氣罐  儲氣壓力通常為400~800千帕。它是靠罐內壓力的變化儲氣的,其幾何容積固定不變,故也稱定容儲氣罐。圓筒形高壓儲氣罐可臥置或立置。單個幾何容積為幾十至幾百立方米;球形高壓儲氣罐的幾何容積可達數千立方米(見彩圖)。    當氣源以高壓供氣時,宜采用高壓儲氣罐。其有效儲氣量V可用下式計算  V=Vc(p-pc)/p0  式中Vc為儲氣罐的幾何容積;p為最高工作壓力;pc為最低剩余壓力;p0為標準大氣壓。高壓儲氣罐的容積利用系數嗘,可用下式表示:  嗘=Vp0Vcp=(p-pc)/p  儲氣罐最高工作壓力按設計要求為定值,降低剩余壓力即可提高容積利用系數。但剩余壓力又受儲氣罐出口處連接的調壓器進口壓力的限制。為了提高儲氣罐容積利用系數,高峰用氣時可通過引射器將進入罐站的燃氣從罐中引射出來,以降低罐內剩余壓力。
