櫟樹中毒 家畜因食入櫟樹屬某些櫟樹種的幼嫩芽葉或橡實而引起的中毒（見彩圖）。有毒成分是櫟樹單寧水解產物聯苯三酚及其他多酚類化合物。牛吃入的櫟樹葉占日糧50％以上時發生中毒，占75％以上時引起死亡。患牛體溫正常，食欲減退，糞便稍干、色暗、有粘液及少量血絲。后期腎功能衰竭，尿蛋白陽性，尿比重下降，垂皮、胸前、肛門、會陰及腹下等處呈現水腫。春（櫟樹幼苗生長之時）、秋（橡實脫落之際）兩季多發。診斷須作綜合判斷。化驗室檢驗材料，如一些酶的測定（包括血清、谷 -草轉氨酶和乳酸脫氫酶等），血液尿素氮、肌酸酐、磷及總蛋白水平的升高，血清鈣水平的降低以及尿比重低于1.010等,均有參考價值。尚無有效治療方法，可試用硫代硫酸鈉溶液靜脈注射。
